So....we've reached that time of life that most more-recently-hitched couples hit. Wait for it....duh duh DUHHHHHHHHH. Ahem. Sorry, I enjoy theme music.
As I started to say earlier, we've reached the point that we're sick of renting, apartments and having seven cop cars sitting outside of our balcony because some drug deal went bad. SO.....we have begun hunting for a house to buy. This is altogether exciting, nerve-wrecking and downright terrifying! But mostly exciting. My wonderful parents have graciously agreed to help us with every little question, concern and 3,786 emails a day of various house listings.
That being said, tomorrow we are meeting with a real estate agent and getting the ball rolling! More details to come but this year, 2012, could be full of lots of exciting changes for the Locati family. Stay tuned friends!
My blog will cover a lot of topics, but my main hope is to share our journey of starting a family, in fighting Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome and its resulting infertility. My hope is that I can encourage someone else in the same struggle. But it won't all be so serous, we'll also talk about faith, book reviews, crafts, recipes, life and marriage and well, pretty much anything that I can share to make you laugh (or cry, depending on how bad my writing is!) Thanks for reading!

Love & War - Book Review
Love & War.....the title explains it all! Another excellent read by some of my favorite authors: John and Stasi Eldredge.
This book starts off with John and Stasi being EXTREMELY open and vulnerable about their marriage, and the several rough times they've overcome. Throughout the book they use very real situations they've encountered during the twenty-some years of marriage to show how God has a grand design with marriage, as well as there being a very real enemy who hates marriage.
I cannot say enough good things about this book. Within reading the first chapter, I already saw things in my own marriage and life that needed to change. It opened up dialogue between my husband and I that really allowed us to work thru some issues we'd been struggling with. I so appreciate the Eldredge's willingness to take the cover off the lie that marriage is supposed to be all butterflies and rainbows, and show it for what it is: a love story set in the middle of a war.
I highly recommend this book to couples in any stage of marriage, good or bad. Our marriage has already seen improvement in communication just in the short time I was reading the book. Go buy it today!
I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review!
